What I am referring is the beginning where the mila yovavavich walks up to the camera and explains who she is playing. Also the fact that she was told to explain the whole plot when the director could of just wrote it all in text. The hilarious thing is that the disappearances caused by aliens was proven to be *beep* It turned it was a bunch of drunk drivers which makes all that they say about the aliens completely *beep* and made up.

shareI didn't take it as the director thinking anyone was stupid, or that he was trying to con anyone. I think it was a kind of wink to the audience, saying "Here's our game, do you want to play along?"
It added an extra layer that we wouldn't have had, if he'd stuck simply to Milla Jovovich pretending to be a fictional shrink. I enjoyed it.
