Question about Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's role as the captain (SPOILERS)

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT

So I just got done reading the script and near the end, something mysterious in the ship's computer unlatches a dish while the Captain (Pike) and Sue are fixing it out on the hull, killing him and knocking his body out into space. Does this mean Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will not actually be a regular on the show (sort of like what they were going to do with Mathew Fox's character on Lost)? I could still imagine the actor continuing as a presence in the VR world just like the Green-Eyed Man.

It means just that. But they could have changed the script - I remember Taylor talking about a "virtual baby" - it's not in the script either. So we can't know for sure how it will be with Nikolaj. Besides, Fox wants some reshooting.... Anyway, I just hope Virtuality gets the series order, with Waldau as regular or without him, LOL.
