Plus there's a photo of Moist von Lipwig too.

Okay, I love some of them. Moist is inspired casting and Angua looks like an awesome fit who can also play a role model/protaganist for future Watch films. Not too pleased about Saccharisa (should have been Georgia Moffat)but by and large, I'm very happy. The excitement is killing me! God let this not be the last Discworld film!

Some I am ok with. None thrill me. And some...
Why is Cripslock over 40? as far as i remember it she was not even 30. And I hate recasting Vetinari.

Only casting choice I think may be great is Angua.

reply

Well she's closer to Sacharissa's presumed age than David Jason was to Rincewind's. I love Tamsin Greig, and I can see her in the part.

Early to say but after the mediocre adaptations of two of the weakest Discworld novels, I have high hopes for this... they've selected a strong book (although I really, really want to see an adaptation of Pyramids, Thief of Time or one of the city watch books) and the casting seems very promising.

I figured there would be more, since if SyFy had it there was DEFINITELY more news somewhere, but I had trouble finding the Sky site. Thank you for posting it!

From claire-foy.org...

"Originally, ‘Going Postal‘ was said to be airing on Sky HD and Sky One around Easter 2010. However, the 2 part TV event is now slated to air at the end of May 2010. I’ve not been able to find specific dates yet. Stay tuned!"

I was getting all excited about it being on next weekend, as well :(

reply

I thought it was odd that it was due to premiere this weekend with no trailers, posters, websites or anything really.

Oh well, Let them have as much time as they need. I hope it's awesome.
