Generally I’m not into feeding trolls but I’ll bite on this one. At what point did you get the message that the film condoned fighting? Because I was pretty sure that ‘war is hell’ was a recurring point made. The warrior hero doesn’t delight in re-counting his battles to the young owls, they’re bad memories he’d rather not relive. When Metal Beak is defeated there isn’t singing and dancing, it’s a sombre, cold moment. Perhaps you have difficulty understanding plot points that aren’t grossly overt but I think the filmmakers did a good job sending the message that killing isn’t glamorous in anyway.

Why do people so frequently get told to "read the book" on a movie database?
