Strangest fault in a movie

I don't really have much to say about the film itself - most of it was passable, but nothing more.
One thing however rubbed me the wrong way, and that is probably the first time: the cinematography. Don't get me wrong, it is beautifully filmed at times, but that the director allowed actors to speak with their heads turned away from the camera or not showing other details, as the deer or the slaughter of it were... strange.

I understand this was the director's first - well, few things gets done perfect the first time, so I hope he has learned.
