Picking
Out of 1,000 actors and actresses, how do they pick the 5 who are going to be nomminated and after that, how do they pick the winners? Is it based on a group of judges? or what?

AS I UNDERSTAND IT:
For the nominations all the actors rank the top 5 in each category. The 5 with the most in each get the nominations.
The winner is done the same with the 5 nominees.
I could be wrong but that is how I understand it
So what they do is...
1. Get all the movies that were shown from last year.
2. Viwe in different catagories the actors, actress, directos, & so on
3. The movies and the actors are screend.
4. Judges vote and the top 5 with the most votes gets nominated.
5. They send those top 5 to another panle of judges and from there they vote and whoever has the most votes wins.
