Elvis (Costello) can't sing
I've always been a fan of his songwriting but the guy can't sing. He sounds like Huckleberry Hound with nasal congestion. He should definitely leave most of the singing to the guests and his wife.
Well, of course, compared to Katy Perry, Britney Spears and almost anyone on American Idol, Elvis (Costello)--yuck yuck--can't sing a lick! All that praise he has received from those rock critics who look just like him don't know good singing from good farting. Shoot, they think the Velvet Underground (for chrissakes) is a good band, but Kiss blows them away, man. (Like, Kiss has sold millions of more albums than the Velvet Underground, so there's my proof!) You're right, Tashtago! Bob Dylan can't sing either, and neither can Leonard Cohen or Paul Simon. Now Madonna--there's a singer!
