Finding the DVD in the US

Does anyone know how to find this on DVD in the US? I've checked on Netflix, Blockbuster.com, and Amazon. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Maybe I'm just missing it somehow.

Has anyone else found this in the US? Would love to watch.

Because it hasnĀ“t been released on Region 1, yet.

R2UK (DVD) - September 28th 2009

Or just try and support a local indie store that carries the titles the corporate messes of "Netflix" and "Blockbuster.com" won't carry...just a thought, our store will have it and others should also.

You can buy the DVD at amazon.ca (Canada). It will be released on 29 september.

Or you can wait... the US will make a version with Russell Crowe (realisateur Paul Haggis).

Even if this movie gets available in US, it still won't be dubbed in English or would it be !!!

I would say the chances of any movie being dubbed for the US market go towards a big fat ZERO.

The DVD "Pour Elle" that's being sold at amazon.ca seems to be purely in French (despite the English product description). If you're interested in the version with subtitles, I'm afraid you'll have to order it through amazon.co.uk -- it's your best bet, not too expensive either (currently it's on offer for 5 Pounds).

Don't worry about the subtitles -- in case you're a slow reader -- because this movie doesn't rely too much on the dialogue.

But I assure you, you will worry about completely chewing off your fingernails about half-way through! This was the most suspenseful movie I've seen in a loooong time.

It's a really great movie, and it's a shame that Hollywood decided to remake it. Somehow, remakes never get it right - don't ask me why, I'd like to know myself (it's not as if Olivia Wilde were painful to watch per se...).

That is not true. The Canadian DVD does have English subtitles.
