Favorite alien invasion movies

I have to say for pure entertainment, Independence Day. I know it had many flaws, but when it came out I enjoyed it.

I like Signs with Mel Gibson, but that ending left a bit to be desired.

I guess my two favorites would be They Live, and Monsters(like how the beginning and ending are the same event).

Monsters was pretty decent. Id say the best alien invasion movie of the last 10 years has to be district 9. Dark skies was also highly underrated IMO.

Earth vs The Flying Saucers. You have no appreciation for a real alien invasion until you see this one. Honourable mention to Invaders from Mars.

My fave is INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS and I wish they would do another remake the 2007 one disappointed me a tad.

Starship Troopers (if you want to technically count that) as an invasion movie. Movie is *beep* compared to the book but entertaining as a movie.

I forget the name but the movie where they are in Russia and the aliens make electric things go off- dark something
Indepence day

I want an alien versus alien movie where they both want to invade earth or one of em is trying to protect us
