Catfish opinions/comparisons

For those who have seen Catfish and this movie, how would you compare them? Personally, while Catfish was good, I found this movie to be a lot more compelling, and just a more interesting story overall.

But I'm wondering if Catfish is receiving or will receive more exposure/success/hype etc than this movie. I guess part of me, seeing Catfish and seeing some discussion about it, even the fact it received a lot more distribution, makes me feel this movie has gotten a little short-changed and overlooked.

Having now just seen this, I though they were both good, this was a more intimate character study, but Catfish's 'twist' did lead to a lot of "Oooh" sick hatred before the redemption, whereas this never had a malicious edge.

Both are 10/10 to me though, very good films.

I just want my kids back.

That's interesting, never even thought of Catfish while watching this. I agree, both are just as compelling, in different ways, but both great!
