The fact that Criterion has yet to release an Kitano films is kinda embarassing. He's brilliant. They should take a look at this film and consider....
shareI've watched this film 8 times now. It's so brilliant. Kinda sad that very few have bothered checking it out because of the "artsy" (see: unconventional, brilliant, and structured in ways that aren't obvious and safe) previous 2 entries in KItano's trilogy. Even people who don't "get" his 2 before this one -- though there's not much to "Get", they're just entertaining, brilliant films! -- loved this one. I'm sure one day it'll get its due, so yeah. You can't keep amazing films down.
