I just started watching and I'm on ep 5 but Edward said they created Henry to make the job easier but from what i see its a nightmare. Why not just have them sleep and wake them up to go to work i mean it's not like Edward even has a life outside killing people. Even Tom's life fell apart and it spilled into his job i just don't see the positive side to the second life. Has no one EVER targeted their other half before? I mean if Edward HATE Henry and what's his name hates Tom so what the hell was the damn point? The show is fun but i can't help but realize there is no way this is the easier way to keep them from having relationships or whatever blah i'm lost.

Because then there wouldn't be a tv show.

The idea they mention in a future episode is that the alternate identities are created so the operatives don't miss having love, kids or a normal life. The other identity lives that life and the human brain doesn't crave it.

Ok so it was a biological thing cause I seriously did not get the point. I saw the ep when Edward said so that he wouldn't miss love and all that but I didn't put together the human brain part. I was thinking Edward doesn't even want love.

I'm also having a hard time understanding why the second lives were created. You'd think nothing would be a secret if entire families are involved. If the main character was biologically a split personality the premise would make a lot more sense.
