Just watched the new movie and it was nice to see a new character in the Lord of Winter, but where in the world is the female Minister of Winter who was seen in the first movie?

I noticed that too - also in the first movie a winter fairy comes forward with a snowflake so Tink can find her talent and Tink, Clank and Bobble fly through the Winter Woods with no problem.

I didn't watch the movie yet, but I was afraid they would have messed the things up with this omission...Thank Goodness they made the new character a "Lord"... In this way the Minister of Winter can still be around somehow in the same 'universe' ...

I was upset with this. In the first movie the winter fairy did come up therefor Periwinkle should have been there to get her talent. Also there wings did not freeze when they went through the winter woods. And the minster of winter was always in the spring time place and her wings did not break. This no minster of winter was upsetting to me and my family. This movie did not follow what it showed in the other movies.
