...Is this movie not being released in the USA except on DVD in OCTOBER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I was looking forward to going to see this in the theater with my daughter and now I find out I can't? What the heck is wrong with you people!?!?!?!?!?

I agree wholeheartedly! My 3 year old daughter absolutly loves Tinkerbell, and I was really looking forward to being able to take her to see this on the big screen. Now I am finding out they are releasing it in theaters in other countries but not here??? How can they do this?

This is what makes me mad, OUR MOVIES seem to be more popular in other countries than they are here.

Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.

Well if you live in Los Angeles you can see it at the El Capitan. Aug 31srt - Sept 13th http://elcapitan.go.com/

My family and I saw it at the El Capitan Friday morning. First off, that is an awesome theatre to see movies in (it hosted the premiere of Citizen Kane, among other things). Secondly, the movie was cute and well done. The cast list is impressive and the one song done by the McClain Sisters is cute. Good film for those 8 and under, I'd say.

Yeah I agree, it was pretty well done. I liked it alot. I also agree with you about the El Capitan, wonderful theatre.

Wow, my daughter will not be pleased to hear this. She's been talking about seeing it in the theater all the time since seeing the ad for it during the Olympics.

i agree, my daughter was sooooo excited to go to the theatre. it was going to be the first time she got to see a movie in the theatre :(

That's weird! Here in Mexico it got a national wide theatrical release. In 2D and 3D. I took my niece to see it and I think it is very well made.
I think Disney is making a business mistake on this one.

I just went to see it today (NZ) with my friends daughter. Such a lovely movie :) thoroughly recommend

Here in St. Louis it was released at the Ronnies Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 13
