If Lizzie can fly without wings...

seriously, the writers need to watch the first few movies again.

If Lizzie (the little girl in "The Great Fairy Rescue") can fly with a bunch of fairy dust sprinkled on her... doesn't it follow that they don't need wings to fly at all?

Oh, and I just remembered that in the original Tinkerbell movie - "Peter Pan" - all the kids fly with Peter Pan with the fairy dust.

Too many plot holes for my kids to enjoy it.

But they have to keep grinding them out, don't they?

They are fairies, fairies have wings. It stands to more reason that because they have wings they wouldn't need the dust. I think, though, the dust is there to help them conduct their seasonal duties. They use the dust when flying to be able to fly farther distances and save energy, in my opinion. Humans need the dust because they don't have wings to be able to fly, of course. I don't see any plot holes here.

If you remember in The Lost Treasure, Tinkerbelle loses her extra fairy dust and has to walk around on foot.

They need their wings to navigate. Otherwise they just float, and they need another fairy to guide. Pride prevents them from doing that.

Ok, I made that up. Lol.

that was a plot hole in Fairy Rescue too. Remember all those wet fairies who couldn't fly.

But 4 year olds don't notice that.

Death to shakeycam directors!

Imagine loosing a part of your body. You can replace it with a prothesis. You can still perform the specific task but it'll affect you emotionally.
