Been going on a binge lately of previous pixar/disney movies I've never seen before. Just watched Brave tonight, was really let down after watching Tangled, Wreck it Ralph and Up.
Good animation, I just didn't feel the story that much. What sucks is I liked Merida as a princess but I just couldn't get involved into the story.

Girl's mom turns into a bear? That's TV episode material for some Disney program. It's not material for a CGI feature film.
My thoughts exactly. I thought the feminism was too on the nose, like propaganda almost. Wreck-it Ralph remains my absolute favorite.
