All the scenes between Mark, the doctor, and Joaquin

I absolutely love all the scenes involving Colin Farrell's interactions with Branko Djuric and Christopher Lee. All three are brilliant actors and the scenes between them were my favourite parts of the film. Not saying the other scenes are awful, overall the film was great (though it ended far too abruptly for my taste). But such scenes as when the doctor is checking Farrell's condition, or when Farrell and Lee are talking together, those were the real gems of the film imo.

I saw this movie, and BobStage, you are right! The scene with Farrell and Lee was truly precious. How did it end though? Did Colin's character killed his bestfriend? Or was the boy killed because of Colin's character? I forgot. I watched this because of a friend with PTSD. I hope you can respond to this quickly. Thanks.

It emerged that Mark (Colin) had let his friend go in the river. David was choking him and he was drowning, so Mark broke free of David's "dead man's grip" and let him go. By doing so, he failed to keep his promise to David to bring him home.

(He also felt guilty about the boy, because he had starting running towards Mark when he saw him filming him, and then was killed. But David was the main source of his trauma. Other incidents like the boy and the skulls scene, contributed, obviously.)
