Question *Spoilers*

Seeing how gravely injured Colin's friend was when he had to jump into the river--was he still alive when Colin let him go?? Or was Colin so devastated because he didn't bring him home at all like he promised (dead or alive)?

I agree, I also think he was dead... He couldn't have lived that long with those wounds, and Mark said he had been walking for hours. And agree also the key indicator is about the boy in Beirut...

I saw this film but I forgot what happened to the boy? Was he killed by Colin F's character, or by the soldiers?

reply

The boy was killed by the soldiers, but he started running towards Mark when he saw Mark filming him. So Mark felt somewhat responsible.

Thanks for refreshing my memory:)

You're welcome. I've seen it many times. :)

I agree he was dead at that point. Even if he was alive, jumping into the cold water would make things worse for someone having lost all that blood.

He was already dead, in my opinion. His arms were so tightly wrapped around Mark's (Colin's) neck, that it seemed like rigor mortis had already set in.

So yeah, he was devastated and felt guilty for failing to bring his friend home like he promised.
