it takes place some years after original KITE, but
i'm just assuming that mukai is sawa grown up,
with a kid (from an affair with the other killer in the original
KITE? But i don't remember them having sex or it even being implied)
all the guns are at the APollo's restaurant? but the owner was friends with those
pervert twins, what the hell, i'm confused.

i haven't seen original kite in a while, so maybe i just missed some obvious throwbacxks to the original, and plus this one isn't very good.

however since we're already talking about "kite" original

how many versions are there?

some idiot said 'kite special edition' is the ultimate uncensored version

yet it just looks like added scenes not original, just added

also since its SPECIAL why is it missing the office scene which is in the uncut version

so which version is the ultimate uncut?? weird

I think there are only two versions, the one with sex and one without.

also sawa makes a brief appearance in
Mezzo Forte outside of a car window.
she stares directly at camera so it is
linking their worlds together.

I got that feeling too, problem is that this film felt like three films halfway crammed into one. It wanted to be a sci-fi space version of The Thing, it also wanted to be a panty flashing teen drama, also wanted to be a Kite film.

Yeah they should have just stick with Kite handling business against humans.
But I really did like this movie. Very stylish. Wished it was longer.
I hope the director makes another Kite and Mezzo Forte movie. For some reason I thought the director was dead but he still alive and making animes.
So glad this is available on Netflix for instant watch in HD.
Really wish I could get both movies on bluray.
