Attention People of Sydney, Aus

Mother is currently playing at one cinema in the country as far as i can tell and its located in sydney! It Reading Cinemas Market City, the address is
Level 3, 9 - 13 Hay St
Haymarket NSW 2000
Its playing at 11:00am, 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm, 9:00pm daily and will be there until the 29/07 i believe, so not long!
Another rare one also playing there is "Thirst", Chan-wook Park's latest offering fresh from Cannes which i highly recommend as well.
I was stunned when i heard about this, i didn't even know they had planned distribution yet for either of them

I was stunned when I learnt about it too.
Mother was the far superior film, I felt.
I'm a big fan of Bong (my favourite Korean director along with Lee Chang-Dong), but I think Park's work is highly overrated.

Anyway, it's great to see a release in Australia so soon after it premiered in Korea, but at the same time sad that it's felt that it's only viable to give it such an extremely limited release. Sadder still that this assumption is probably completely accurate.
