I expected a lot more, it is sad when Matthew Goode and Adam Scott can't save a film. Amy Adams is horrible in this, but then I don't think I've seen a film where I liked her before.

Yeah, Amy Adams a multiple Oscar nominated actress and various award winner is "terrible". Please, she was great in this.

Sorry, I just don't think she is a good actress. I don't understand why she won an Oscar. She is forgettable to me.

She was really good in Doubt and The Fighter. But she can also do rather flat characters, like in Enchanted. I feel like this was such a stock character that she sort of fell back to her Enchanted mannerisms.

Agreed. Amy played her role perfectly! She grew throughout and displayed it well.

I totally agree. This movie is SO CUTE and romantic and Matthew Goode is AMAZING and makes the film for me.........but watching her is so annoying. She drives me crazy. She is not that great of an actress, the fact that shes so overrated and has won an oscar is beyond me. She WHISPERS all her lines. Her voice is annoying as well. And to be honest, Matthew Goode is gorgeous, and sexy as hell in this film---looks wise she also wasn't up to par with him. I wish they had cast someone else as her role. And I'd adore the movie. I just try ignore how annoying she is when watching it. I can't think of one film I've seen her in where I thought she was "amazing" or where she didn't honestly just annoy me. And I have never seen what people see in her looks. She's attractive, but that's about it. I think Ginner Goodwin may have been really cute in that role. God, so many others just not Amy lol.

I thought she was quite good in this movie. I think she's quite a versatile actress myself.

I'm not sure it was entirely Amy. The movie failed, because there was NO chemistry between her and Matthew Goode whatsoever. Not a single kiss was credible. Matthew looked like he would have rather punched Amy than kissed her.

Yep, I completely agree. Utter garbaaaage. Toe-curlingly bad. I had to switch off after 20 mins to save my brain.

Matthew was not into this film at all. He had a baby at the time, and all he wanted was go back to London every weekend to see her, the film could go hang. And it shows!
