Dolph Lundgren should have played Niedermann

I'm so dissapointed that Dolph Lundgren didn't play Niedermann. He would have been perfect for the role. Indeed, Stieg Larsson must have had Dolph in mind when he invented the character Niedermann.

Except that Dolph is waaayyyyy too old for that part.

I don't agree. I don't think Dolph looks older than Micke Spreitz.

Dolph Lundgren's a bit too long in the tooth now to play such a vital villain.

I think Micke Spreitz was cast because of his relationship with Paolo Roberto, who he shared the fight scene with.

Nah, Spreitz did a fine job....plus, Dolph would have been too distracting. Spreitz looks like a terrifying character.
