Excellent

I saw the first episode back in december and the second only a few days ago, this series is really amazing under every aspect and it's capable of bringing back the old spirit of the original Macross series adding spectacular visual effects in a superb 720p widescreen format and a marvelous soundtrack!

It is indeed excellent, and episode #7 is shaping up to be one to stay in memories :)

Have only seen the Raw of ep7 so far, but ... Wow.

This show is gearing up to be one of the best Space Op anime in years, far above Macross 7, and a worthy successor to Macross Plus.
Only at ep. 7 though, so we'll see.
Generally Anime TV series find their pace around ep.12 or so.

Little critique about the cahracter design and animation, which seem a bit sub par at times, but that also is something that also generally gets better in time in Jap. anime TV series.

Ep 7 was awesome! I read on another message board that the red mech is the VF-27. I have no idea where they got that info from though.

After seeing all 25 episodes, I gotta say that Frontier is definitely the best Macross sequel since Macross Plus. And by far one of the best anime I've seen in a long time.

Late but just wanted to say this by far is the best Macross series next to the original (nearly surpassing it for me). The spirit of it screams Macross, as well as the animation, story, music and design. It's not a retread of DYRL like MAcross 2 is and it's scale is close to DYRL unlike the smaller scale Macross Plus/7.

Just my one cent since I can't afford two.
