The Truth About Jones (to alex jones funders)

You fund a fat *beep* I pity you for wasting money on feeding the obese. For those who don't know people subscribe to his shows and pay him money etc etc.

Trying to overthrow CAPITALIST systems by SELLING dvd's doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the man's true motives.

Also, the man isn't very evolved: he rants at people who even slightly disagree with him; cutting them off; calling them names. It's painful to listen to his callers try to get a word in edgewise without him rudely interrupting them and behaving generally like a complete ass.

He's not telling any type of truth, he just grossly exaggerates obscure newspaper articles and tries to scare the hell out of people.

I've even read articles from people who knew him personally who are knowledgeable about this *beep* and they even say he twists EVERYTHING into a conspiracy.

reply

Thats why you have to read the articles that he puts out, Of course what he says is scary because the truth is painful and frighting
and the simple answer to what you said about him is that he is an American and more to that he is a Texan, he is loud rude and a bit crazy but he message is right
Don't look at the man look at the message

Alex Jones reminds me of Hitler in the closing scenes of this movie...watch..
Only even retarded Hitler at least had one working braincell.

I caught that too. A call to battle in simplistic, angry slogans, rather charismatically delivered. Almost trance like - the very definition of propaganda. Not to say, of course, was the only angry charismatic public speaker, or that all such people are evil, but the similarities in conviction, passion, tone, and body language are striking. As is the unquestioning adoration of the followers.

Earlier he was more believeable backing his statements up more, today i can't honestly tell as i've stopped watching anything he releases (followed him for about 1 month before he derailed properly). It's somehow nice to have something as a counterpart to the capitalist owned media, the funny paradox is that he's only a PC opportunist but by being so he contradicts the elite (read; also mainstream media) that own the US of today.

And yeah you do know that the capitalist system in itself is extremely flawed? You might want to look up market liberlism instead to get your terms straight.
You strike me as a person who would say that CCCP was communist ruled, while the world has yet to see a real communist society.

For me it's a relief that someone has achieved the public eye for no other reason than to see that some of the less rediculous theories he puts forward (like the one about the "shadow government" - the ultimate "iron triangle" & the two party system).
At your general daily workplace i can guarantee that there are alot of informal work to achieve higher status, salary and position. Now, imagine that there would be no powerstruggle at all to control the world power (behind the scenes) - you see the error in this? Wherever there is money to gain from missuse of power there will be corrupt people systematically abusing the system.

[Edited] Watched a video with him lately, he is now very far out there, in the interest of money as far as i can tell.

[Edit] Went through my posts again, this post has clearly been edited =/.

[Edit 3] Changed words to more precisely mirror the accurate connection.

*beep* hell son. 24 has been banging on about a shadow government for the past 4 seasons. Alex is way behind with the times. Anyway, someone always has control over someone else. Your president is being influenced everyday by thousands of people so whether there is a secret organisation pulling the strings or not, Obama's influenced just like EVERYONE. duh. But end of the world, slavery and world slaughter is too far down the mental path for me.

Alex actually doesn't make much money from selling the DVDs. He actually encourages people to bootleg and trade them. His movies (in full length) are posted on youtube and the bootlegs are sold on ebay for a dollar or two and thats just to cover shipping so in reality Alex doesnt make much money from the sales of his DVDs.

You can definitely see most of his movies for free so I don't think he makes a lot from that alone. I'm guessing the majority of his income is from advertising on his radio show and his web site.
You don't hear the guy asking for funding like NPR so I'm guessing he's got a few hardcore donors.

reply

His lates film the fall of the republic cost him $200,000 i really doubt that he made half of the money back let alone a profit.
so for all those people who say he profits on fear mongering you are completly wrong

reply

He gives all of his movies away for free online.

If you wanted a DVD and genuinely didn't have the money, they'd send you one.

Alex Jones is a good guy.

Besides that, when the hell has he ever talked about "overthrowing" a capitalist govt? His whole thing is about saving the country, not destroying or overthrowing anything.

Like others have said, I've seen most of his films and I've never paid a dime. I just to Youtube. They're all there.

Maybe you should actually know what you're talking about before you start stupid threads like this?

I,ve not spent one penny on/with Alex Jones,i agree with you about cutting callers off, i've heard him do this myself but there are time considerations on the radio. I too have seen interviews with people who claim to know him & what i got from them was that even if they disagree, they do consider him genuine. With Alex Jones you have to be aware that he does this as a living & he's going to sensationalize, as long as your aware of that he's harmless & entertaining. It's not as though the US hasn't got a lot that needs fixing & at least someones doing SOMETHING!
