Is this going to be in theaters or straight-to-video ?
Does anyone know ?

I heard from one of the stars of the movie that it is suppose to go into theatres. Hopefully it will.
shareI have no idea. Maybe they'll mention something about that at the premiere?
shareCheck out the trailer. It looks like it's going to be straight to dvd. I can tell by the film quality, it looks cheap.. The website says the premier is May 29th at the Temple Theatre here in downtown Saginaw, it says it will be a red carpet even?!? Though it will be interesting to see the scenes that were filmed at my neighbors house, the movie doesn't seem like it will be good. I dunno.

Not really a fan of these kinds of movies. However, if this is going to be available on DVD, I would certainly look to getting it.
Interesting story on how I heard about it. First off, I'm from Canada (southwestern Ontario, to be exactly). About a month ago, I was at a Saginaw Spirit hockey game, and they played a few excerpts from the movie. It was also advertised as 'filmed in Saginaw'.
Saginaw, MI, BTW, is one of my favourite cities in the USA.

I do like the Titabawasee Road area of Saginaw. LOTS of shopping there.
Each time I have gone to Saginaw, the people there have been SUPER nice. It makes we want to keep coming back.

Southwestern Ontario (around the London area, to be exact). Bay Road and Titabawasee Road are the best. For what I require, everything is near that intersection. Either that, or it's a stone's throw away from it.
I guess the phrase "Nice place to visit, but one wouldn't want to live there" comes into place?

NOT EVEN, to visit. I can't understand why you like Saginaw more than London. I imagine London is what Flint or Saginaw would be if it weren't economically depressed.
I guess, hey, if you have good memories here, more power to you. If you had to look for a job and do anything with your life, this isn't a good town for you.
I guess America is a cool place if you're a visitor.
Someone told me that they saw in Review (I think that's what the magazine is called) that it will be playing at Fashion Square Cinemas for this week, at least!

Saginaw had more mob roots in its past than you may know, but I see what you're saying. And to our Canadian friend it's cool to know that you've had nothing but nice times when you've been here. Saginaw gets such a bad rep but hey I still grew up here, just don't plan on having a family here.
shareYeah I use to live on court st. until I was like 18 then I moved out of there and have not been back ever since until I heard that they were shooting a movie there and then when I came back and visited family there once again. I looked around and said to myself "man, I don't know how this could get more *beep* up than it has in the past but bravo to them I guess." It's all the gangs fault as to why Saginaw is so *beep* up also, the lack of police in the city and some of them are dirty too.
shareThis movie shouldn't even have been released at all.
