A must see

This film is just fantastic if anyone gets a chance to see it. It is well worth your money. Has anyone else seen it?

Yep, just saw it. very painful and very, very personal. and some topics are very close to heart.
As it has been mentioned, the doc. feeling about it makes it very "real". I can't imagine what the actors had to go through to perform this way.

I agree - it was very good. I hope lots of men go to see it and realise it's OK to open up about one's feelings.

Just have to say how unexpectedly good Grant Dodwell is in the film.

Agree that this is a rich and rewarding film. The plot is engaging, and the camera-work suits the style of film very well.
A special pleasure for me was seeing Australian actors portraying fellow Australian men and their experiences. No U.S. crappy accents or over-cooked filmic treatments, no car chases or 'the inevitable female co-star' - just a slice of our lives so that we can settle into the film and, in a way, feel 'at home'.
If I was to think of a comparable Oz movie that moves along the same track, I would nominate the excellent 'Saturday Night' (2000) where Alison Whyte and Aaron Pederson gave similarly powerful performances.
So glad 'Men's Group' won the AFI award.
