He had no priors. He wouldnt have been on their police books. No photos for them to scan. Yet the cops came to his house and arrested him within hours of the 'murder' based on a 2 second image grab from a black and white security camera!
shareone of the cops could've recognized him from the investigation of wife's rape (i.e., he may have come to the station as part of the investigation). that would be a coincidence but not impossible.
