Why do the addicts feel the need to have sex with so many different partners?? Why don't they simply have sex with their spouses a LOT? Or simply stick to masturbation, etc.?
Other *types* of addicts don't necessarily vary their products i.e. one kind of booze, one kind of cigarettes, one kind of drug..etc.
Why do sex addicts do this? Just curious.

Someone like this is using sex for another purpose. It has nothing to do with the physical act or having a huge libido - if so, then yes, one partner would be enough. In this case, it was the high she felt when dressing in the sexy clothing and having the men pay attention to her, then subsequently sleeping with them. It was her way of forgetting about her painful past, as well as feeling loved and accepted. Initially, one man can fulfill this role, then the excitement wears off and then time to move on to someone else and the cycle repeats itself. This type of addiction is equivalent to drinking or taking drugs, and can eventually kill you.
