Another interesting film on IDF.

I've seen another film, "To See if I'm Smiling" that really knocked
the wind out of me.. Very sad in that it shows the effects of having
served in the IDF for young women, who were traumatized by some
of the horrible things they were forced to do by their commanding
officers. It does not shine a very good light on the behavior of
the IDF, and it's sad to see these young women seemingly ruined
for the rest of their lives, some with children who are also
suffering. And of course, you can't ignore that some of this is
due to how these women have to interact with Palestenians, in
some cases having killed or tortured very young men and even
children, who now haunt these women. A very sad situation for
all involved, I hate to think that there is going to be new
generations of all of these "damaged" Israeli's ..
