Is the original comic book easier to understand?

According to Blockbuster's entry on Voices, it was based on a popular Korean comic book series called "It's Two People" by Kang Kyung-ok. Has this comic been printed in english? And if not, does anyone know Korean and has read it? I would be interested to know if perhaps there were details in the comic that would make the movie more understandable. Thanks.

I went to Amazon.com and answered my own question. The manga is called "Two Will Come" by Kyungok Kang and volumes 1 and 3 are available to be ordered. Couldn't find any sign of volume 2. Anyhow, Amazon's summary for the manga states:

SPOILERS FOR THE MANGA BUT NOT THE MOVIE (unless I really missed something)

"Ordinary high school girl Jina discovers that she is heir to a terrible legacy handed down from her family's sinister history. Long ago, her ancestors killed a magical serpent known as an Imugi, believing that it would bring them good luck. Unfortunately the creature cursed them as it died, decreeing that one family member of each generation for that day forth will be killed by two people closely acquainted with that person."

Well, that clears a lot up and I didn't even have to read the manga (but I did order it anyway). Wish the movie had stuck with the manga's explanation. Maybe they thought Western audiences wouldn't accept it, or they wanted to make some kind of broader statement, or something. Maybe you can take the manga's explanation and make it fit into the movie's framework.

yeah that makes more sense...I mean you know if magical serpents existed. I think they though Jealousy was a more plausible reason? The manga reason would've made more sense though consider this film had a bunch of red herrings to begin with I wasn't sure if it was confusing because of the translation or not.
