I was fooking convinced that was Pete Townsend from THE WHO. Still cant believe it wasn't the guys a dead ringer for who ever played him.

Thewlis was the best part of the movie (besides the delicious Kiera Nightly). He made it all interesting. He does look that much like Townsend though. A little maybe.

No, he doesn't look anything like Townshend here. But I was more than a little reminded of Alan Rickman. They could play brothers easily. (And I'd happily watch either one read the phone book. Great actors, both.)

The guy with the really long blond hair is being mistake for the bald guy in The Who?

Apparently being tall with a big nose and an English accent constitutes enough of a resemblance to Pete Townshend to confuse the OP. :)

You couldn't be in a better place to replace that bit with an actual name if you tried.

Me too SterlingArcher. I find it very disrespectful not to refer to the actors by their name when it is so easy to find in most cases - unless they had a very small part - which David Thewlis did NOT have in this movie.

David Thewlis was a fajucking god in this particular performance- he turned a supporting role into a main feature.
