What are you talking about? Other than Ryan Gosling, and whoever Pablo Schreiber is, there is nothing Canadian about it. The producers are American. The director is American. The writer is American. It was filmed in America. The IMDb page says the country is USA.

Also if you "shouldn't be surprised", how is Canada putting a leaf of the Canadarm any worse than Americans placing a flag on the moon?

Liberals just want everything to be more diverse, well preferably more brown or dark skinned but diverse no less. They want to bring back the days when people looked like Neanderthals. XD

Safe to say we will never relinquish country/border/creed etc. once we get into space. There is no United Earth but a fragmented flagged Earth battling it out over space and space resources. If aliens are watching, wait till we kill each other off first before you come in and finish us off. Humans tend to band together after everlasting fighting.
