Since when was KARR supposed to be a walking talking robot.

The fight was hilarious with KARR on two legs and it looked like he was roller skating to chase KITT during their fight.

I thought KARR was a AI car like KITT and not a Transformers wannabe?

Also Sara says a episode or two before we see KARR that it's more cyborg then Car but KARR can only be a true cyborg once he's captured a pilot. Speaking of which when he did snatch that guy and put him in the cockpit thingy he changes back to a car, where did the pilot go? Is he shoved into one of the seats as he morphs?

Actually, they never should have said that KARR in this series was a cyborg because, he's not. The word "cyborg" stands for "Cybernetic Organism." As explained in the Terminator films, that means "living tissue over a metal skeleton." KARR was the other way around. It was a metal vehicle with a human inside controlling it. It was more of a robot.

(1) an organism with a machine built into it with consequent modification of function; (2) an organism which is part animal and part machine.

Exactly, both of which do not apply to the 2008 version of KARR.
