Is the pisspoor economy causing WB to release its shows piecemeal?

That's the only legitimate excuse I can think of. It's not only Batman: The Brave and the Bold but almost every other damn cartoon they make they release in split seasons. It infuriates me to no end really. We as fans shouldn't have to wait months or even years between releases of just PARTS OF SEASONS of these shows to help the company with its profits (although I'd be willing to pay a few extra dollars to get a set without that moronic Music Meister episode included). I realize the economy is bad and the future uncertain. Does that really mean we should get this kind of treatment from people owning a product we'd very much like to purchase though?
