The intended viewer age vs the actual viewer age

I'm just wondering what the actual ages of the people that watch it are, I'm guessing the show's made for 9-12 year olds but I doubt they are the main set of viewers. I'm 22 and I love this show and watch it when I can, what are your ages?

^^ woah, I did not expect that. Lol :-)

I'm 27 and I find it appaulling that my young cousins, nephews, etc would rather watch crap on the Disney channel than watch a show such as this.

I was guessing the show's target audience to be 9-13 years old too, but I'm 20 and my friends are aged between 18-21 and they LOVE IT.

But the show has got some PRETTY mature themes, Death is pretty recurrent, firearms are not too goofy, even the sound effects are Guns sound effects, not some weird laser-like weapons, and, have you ever watched 'The Mask of Matches Malone'? The 'Birds of Prey' song is FULL of sexual innuendos! Also, Batman as Matches Malone dies 9 times, and most of the deaths are pretty explicit

HOPE they'll release full seasons on DVD... I don't have Cartoon Network so yeah... You know how I watch the episodes...

I'll be 46 in April. I'm just about to buy the Season 1 Part 2 collection. So far I've enjoyed pretty much every episode that were released on the three individual DVDs they put out. It's not TAS, but then it's not intending to be. At my age, I remember the Silver Age quite well and can see the combination of that with the current DCU. It works for me. I'll buy the rest of the series if/when they release them.

The show is probably marketed towards younger audiences, but probably shouldn't be. You need to be a fairly experienced and versed classic comic book reader in order to fully appreciate this series.

I'm 44. I watch the show because it's a throwback to the silver age DC comics from the 1950's and 60's a lot lighter fair than today. I used to read all those stories back in the 70's and 80's when they would reprint them in the DC Digests. All simplier times.

I'm 24 and love the show. I try to tune in for updated versions of the cartoons I use to watch growing up. Eventually one day I'll give the source materials a try-- COMIC BOOKS.
