Ultimately worth it!

I have to admit I absolutely hated this series the first time I saw it. What have they done to my beloved Dark Knight I moaned and instantly wrote it off as childish nonsense. But dig a little deeper and there are lots of cool little nuggets peppered throughout the show. Now I consider myself to be fairly well versed in my Batman lore. I have 100+ Batman Comics my favourites include the obvious The killing Joke, Year One, Dark Knight Returns all the classics but my top ten list would also include, Year 100, The Cult, Cacophony (well thats proboably not in my top ten but sue me I'm a Kevin Smith fan groooaaannn, I know widening gyre was terrible) The Red Hood was brilliant and the film adaption wasnt bad either. After Midnight by Steve Niles was a great entry into the elseworlds tales. Knightfall-obviously- The Man Who Laughs was a great retelling of Jokers early days. Scott Snyder's recent Death of the Family was pretty damn good, Hush and so on etc blah blah blah.
Seen all the movies Batman Returns is still my favourite. I tried really hard to like Dark Knight Rises but after 5-6 viewings it really is just awful. The brilliant animated series that still kicked ass despite all the nonsense restrictions FOX placed on the show. The old Super Friends series which if you havnt seen are so corny they're brilliant, Alan Burnett is a legend in my book, shoutout to Paul Dini and Bruce Timm as well for doing their best to keep Batmans integrity and dignity intact.

Wow i'm just rambling anway my point is this show passes my judgement and I give it a thumbs up. Altoghter its not great but the tiny little nuggets keep me watching. Did anyone notice Gleek was one of the Faceless Manhunters trophies in the Siege of Starro episode 2, or the nice little wink with batgirl saving Batman from the Killer Moth (The first appearance of Batgirl in the Comics was her saving Batman from killer moth) Adam West voicing Thomas Wayne. Bat-Mite whom most people hate but he was a part of Batman universe at one stage and his episodes are some of my favourites. Emperor Joker would have to be my favourite episode and love the song, cant get it out of my head actually. I love Kevin Conroy but Diedrich Bader does a great Batman, though from all of the episodes I have seen there has been no Bruce Wayne and Ive seen Alfred once. Also probably the greatest incarnation of Aquaman ever, John dimaggio, Outrageous,"Is that henchman I hear" loved it.
Sure its not my ideal Batman but it's not trying to be dark and gritty. its fun and constantly pokes fun at itself, its not meant to be taken seriously. personally I love all of the shoutouts to some of the more obscure villains.

Sorry this post is all over the place I'm kind of new to message boards (I'm supposed to have a quote at the end right as my signature?)

Any way I live and breathe Batman no other hero compares and I'm loving the recent adaptions of comics into animated films. Bryan Cranston as Commisioner Gordon so rad. Red Hood, Apocalypse, Dark Knight returns 1 and 2. Also Gotham Knight was an interesting addition to the universe. So bluuugghhhh Batman rules, Brave and the Bold is pretty terrible but it has just enough to keep me coming back and I love the little moments that only harcore Bat-fans will appreciate.

Too much rambling. Too little opinion.

In summary: tl;dr
