The part near the bottom is what caught my eye...

""Furthermore, Cartoon Network executives confirmed new season orders for existing comic shows including "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" and "Young Justice" as well as declaring more expansion plans for the "Ben 10" franchise created by comic collective Man of Action (the current "Ultimate Alien" series earns a new season while another iteration of the show, still unnamed, is in the works)."

I had the producers as guests on my podcast a few months back, and they did say that season 3 (the current season) would be the last.

Here's a link, if you'd like to hear the interview:

"^ Just 13 episodes."

Plus the remaining ones that did not air in the U.S. from Season Two.

Ah! So we're looking at 15+ episodes for next season?

The 13 originally ordered, plus the 3 from Season Two that were held back by Cartoon Network. Season Three (the final one) is already airing.

I think they ment more episodes AFTER the 13 episodes ordered for season three.

reply

^ 2 of the 3 have been played. The only one left is "The Mask of Matches Malone"

Yes, but they aired (on Cartoon Network in the U.S.) as part of Season Three, not as second-season episodes.

i really really really hope they can continue this show and make a broodier version with CGI Batman if they still want to. What's wrong with having two Batman shows? As a kid I loved watching Sonic: SataM and The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, fully aware that they took place in different continuities. I liked how one was camp and the other was more serious. I wish they'd do the same here.

Nothing. And they actually did back in the 1970's on Saturday mornings.

Yes, two different shows with then all-new episodes featuring Batman (produced by 2 different companies with separate voice actors for each.

One series from Filmation and the other series from Hanna Barbera.

Both during the exact same tv season.
