Is this a good show to start with?

After being a Marvel fan for years, I have decided to finally get into DC. I heard that a lot of fans enjoyed Batman: TAS, but that show is not available on Netflix or Hulu.

So, my question is is this a good show to start getting into DC with? (I should note that I'm really interested in seeing Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, & Catwoman).

I also plan on getting into the comics, not sure where to start there either.

I think it depends on which Batman you like better. If you're familiar with the more campy versions from the 50s, 60s and 70s, you might like Brave and Bold. If you were brought up with the darker versions of Batman, a lot of the stuff in Brave and Bold might not make much sense. I liked it, but I'm in my 50s and grew up watching the campy Adam West Batman and those cheesy Filmation cartoons from the 70s.

If you really want to get familiar with the DC universe, you might want to check out Justice League or Justice League Unlimited. Both are on Netflix.

Both tas' are on Amazon prime. And justice league is on netflix... that is the best of the dcau all connected

It is a good show. It is like taking Adam West's Batman, and combining him with the Dark Knight we know and love today. It is filled with comedy and a lot of cameos of DC Superheroes and villains such as Aquaman (Who is the best thing about this show), Green Arrow, Atom, Catwoman, etc.
