Brosnan was awesome in this!

Seriously he did a great job!

I didn't think he was that type of an actor, always thought of him as a politician, or an action hero. He was really good in this.

Good performance, but the script was sh!tty.

I've only watched the first half hour, and I don't know how much further I'll get, but so far he's the one thing that's keeping it from sinking into utter worthlessness.

It's a decent book, not one of SK's best, but decent... But this adaptation is so lazy. So many corners being cut. Standard on-the-cheap Stephen King adaptation. I hate the way SK allows such awful adaptations of his stuff to be made.

Got the book off the shelf to check how wrong it is.

His wife's death is just stupid, almost comical. In the book she dies of a brain aneurysm while running to help people involved in a traffic accident. In this adaptation she doesn't look up once while crossing a major road and gets smashed by a huge vehicle at full speed.

Kyra in the book is *three*, in this, she's *seven*. It's a huge difference in a important character. When he meets her wandering down the road it's completely different, it doesn't really make sense any more.

So - rubbish adaptation. Pierce is still trying hard though, bless him.

He wasn't good at all! Old, saggy/light-fat, hes laughter was terrible (friggin scary imo) and he couldn't run for sh*t. And the script that made him make out with everything with a skirt? Cheeeseus.

Things have gone south for this dude and is starting to look like a gonner...

I just saw an HD download of this and anyway I agree in that Brosnan did an excellent job in this and his performance really helps the whole.

Without Brosnan this movie would have never seen daylight. It's not his best role by far but he did some fine work. He's a pro.
