It took me awhile to place him in this but it was nice to see Patty Duke's dad/uncle still kickin' it at nearly 90. He made a pretty good bad guy.

He looked in pretty good health for his age. I think I saw him in the cast list on here before watching this. However, I was surprised he was still alive. I don't mean anything spiteful by that. Just that I haven't seen him in anything in decades and had thought he passed on long ago.

Schallert passed away today at 93. He certainly demonstrated he was still a superior actor so effectively playing the arch villain in this story. A terrific, versatile performer.
