the wife's death

I know it is just a movie but did anybody else get upset when he sees his wife in the street and she is dying (after she got hit by the bus for not looking before she crossed the street like a moron)but she is still alive and she is looking at him, but all he does is hold her. Hello, she is still alive, the paramedics are just sitting there and they finally move him after she died. They would have kept him away while the transported her or started medical work...ugh that made me angry. That scene could have been a little more realistic.

In the book she has a brain aneurysm and it's a hot day. King describes her face sizzling on the blacktop. So the poor guy doesn't even say goodbye!

I agree with you. I have just watched that scene, and it was really stupid. Paramedics could have tried to help her instead of him holding her and wasting their time.

Typical Garris staging.

Ridiculous scene, it reminded me of Mean Girls.
