Hooked, Tom Hardy is awesome!

Actor such as Hugh Jackman, Gary Oldman, which BTW was great in this movie, it's a wonder how much they have to study their role, get into full character & change their accent.
Tom Hardy is brilliant in this movie. Dating back to the 1030's, getting as much "true based" info, I believe this movie is on the money.
*Props* I noticed one thing, on the car Jack was driving towards the bridge, the "FORD" emblem was not old, in fact is an updated emblem. As far as "mistakes" none other than that.
I will b a Tom Hardy fan from now on! Along with the others Im still amazed with..
U rock Tom Hardy! Keep em a coming!

Hugh Jackman?? You mean Guy Perce maybe because there is no Jackman in Lawless.

I used to have super powers, but my therapist took them away

reply

Good movie but Hardy did almost nothing throughout the whole flick.

reply

He had this look like he had a stick in his butt. And the look was all he did.

Read, I said actors such as Hugh Jackman, from the other side of the world, with accents can pull off any kind of American accent..

reply

My bad. Pricesely I read Jackman and Oldan which btw was great in the movie. I guess in english it would have been "were" if it was for both actor. :)

Honestly I didn't pay attention for Jackman. Oldman is known for that. I guess I haven't seen enough movies with Jackman.

it's cool, maybe I shuda worded it bttr..

reply

No duh, Jackman wasn't in it.. guy perce luks ugly as fux in this movie too.. I nvr did care much for his acting much anyways...

reply

I agree Hardy was fantastic but I couldn't help think how good Heath Ledger would have been as Forrest with his quiet but strong demeanor.

Great movie!

Watch the warrior. Tom Hardy is awesome in that.

Tom Hardy was the worst thing about this movie. He's thinks too much while acting and ruins his delivery every time.

You fans are only attracted to him so you'll forgive his poor performances.

reply

Umm....well I'm a guy and I'm not gay and I think Hardy knocked it out of the park. He was hard to understand at times yes, but that's what subtitles are for if you really need them. I thought he did a brilliant job of playing the country boy bad ass who doesn't take crap from anyone. Loved him in Dark Knight Rises and loved him in this too, solid actor, gotta watch more of his stuff.

Denzel, Leo, Damon, Norton, Gosling, Farrell, Leto, DDL = best ever Beckinsale, Watts,Farmiga too =)

He blew me away with this performance. Fantastic!

reply

Subtitles? What if you were one of the poor suckers who went to see it in that old-fashioned thing called a theatre?

Can't yell out to the projection boot to press the subtitles button on their remote two times please. No, don't point it at the screen, point it at the projector!!!

I hope you understand that actors don't drink /actual/ liquor on set. Imagine how drunk they'd be after reshooting just a single scene over and over, let alone the movie in its entirety! (I'm not saying the entire movie could be shot in a day, but you see my point, I hope.)

As a man, I am not swayed by a man's looks etc. but I thought that Tom Hardy was terrific in this movie. I have known similar types as the man he portrayed out in the Australian bush. I think 5uperman is a little jealous.

reply

Tom Hardy was flawless in this. This movie is how I first became a fan of his as well.

This is the first movie I have seen with Tom Hardy, and now I can't wait to see him in Mad Max FR!!!!

Also watch Peaky Blinders on Netflix. You will drool into oblivion. He plays a Jewish mob boss in 1919 London. Or if you don't have Netflix, look on youtube. Oh. My. God.
