does she drink alcohol?

i'm not an expert but i think it's a well-known fact that pregnant women shouldn't drink alcohol

so when Stan arrives for their first date, he asks her if she wants a beer and she says "I'll let you know" meaning that she has to see the result of the pregnancy test first (which eventually doesn't happen because of the dog), but then when they are having dinner she's seen drinking a glass of wine? isn't it dangerous for the baby?

it was a cute, fun movie by the way

Ummm yes, drinking while preg is not advised, but one glass of wine wasn't going to harm anyone.

It was also pre fetal development. I asked my doctor about it when I found out that I was pregnant. I had had a couple of glasses of wine before I knew I was pregnant and she said a little was ok that early because it was pre fetal development.

generally speaking, and i am sure you know this... but it takes a lot more than an occassional glass of wine to cause that....
