The storyline is a mess, but it made me laugh.
I saw The Switch not that long ago and that's very similar; both are about unconventional "zainy" ways to have a family. I preferred The Back UP Plan. Both were a mess in terms of the story, but this movie made me laugh, The Switch did not.

I just watched the last hour of the movie...coming in with Alex in the park and Anthony Anderson calling him a pedophile & his kid showing him poop he had found.
That was funny.
JLo suxs..she can't act her way out of a paper bag....Alex was the only reason I watched it...he made it worth watching. I did chuckle at a few scenes.
SPOILER...but were they trying to say she was pregnant again at the end?
Uh, yeah, that was what they were saying there, with her getting morning sickness, it would seem logical that she was.
