Why would the lesbians be there? They aren't single, they're obviously together. Unless they're demeaning their relationship by considering themselves.. single? And, since gay marriage wasn't legal in NY at the time, wouldn't THEY be in the same boat that J.Lo was in?
I don't bother to learn J.Lo's character's name because she plays the same person in every movie.

shareI think seeing the two shopping together may have inadvertently implied that they were lesbians, but I don't think they were. The scene with the childbirth did not in any way that I recall make it look like they were lesbians. They were just shopping together the same way any pregnant lady might with her close female friend.
