not a bad little film...

saw this at the Phila Gay and Lesbian Film fetsival...it had heart. Some plots elements a bit unbelevable, but this film was a real audience pleaser.

I'm glad to hear it. I can't wait to see it. Damion Dietz has this pan-sexual theme in his movies that makes them seem so firmly now, so modern.

i liked it too. the eyeliner tho? hmm.

I love this movie! Beautiful, good performances, well written and just great from start to finish.

Wait a minute! I smell liquor on my breath: You're drunk!

I loved the movie - the best yet from Damion Dietz. All the actors felt so natural and believable in their roles. It didn't have that low budget "feel" like some Indies do. Listening to Damion's commentary (he's never at a loss for words) added lots of insight into this somewhat personal story.

I loved the movie, really touching. Ending confused me I wish they would've stayed togeather but I hear most indy films leave you wondering.

That wasn't going to happen. The Marines wouldn't just let Nate walk away. He signed up for a few years in the service and he's got to finish them. Otherwise they would arrest him.

Deep down they both knew that. Maybe when Nate gets out of the service he will try to hook up with Andy. But for now, they were each what they needed at this point in time. That moment is over and they had to move on.

Just finished watching it. So much potential, but I have to say that I agree with your subject words: bad and little. So much more could have been developed and expanded in the film. Some scenes were "nice" to look at, but it does nothing to help the amateur quality, which does stand out.

i did love the pairing of a conventionally handsome guy with an alternative one. it's refreshing to see a director who is in touch with the times

As far as TLA releasings go this wasn't the hot mess of a movie I've usually come to expect from them. Not bad at all, really.

It is interesting to compare this movie with ROCK HAVEN - in both cases I found the ending unsatisfactory; I give DOG TAGS 7 marks out of ten.
