Motel room kiss barely a spoiler in a gay film

But really... what was up with the super-obvious body double? I can understand if Preiss didn't want to be kissing a guy too much, but as an actor wouldn't that be...his job? Aside from this scene, I think he acted it really well, but surely there's no shortage of equally attractive masculine bisexual actors who could've done this without a double.

The double was so obvious that for a while I wasn't even sure if it was just Andy being reminded of some past lover or something. The whole thing was just really really weird. Thoughts?

It wasn't a body double. It was Andy flashing back to his boyfriend Travis, who had also been a Marine.

Exactly, JMC. I read a review when they had the same complaint and I thought it was funny that a professional critic missed the fact that it was inter-cut with flashback scenes.

It's interesting that people felt compelled to write actual reviews when they didn't understand a scene as simple as the hotel scene where the two men were kissing didn't just involve those two men.
