Too many sub-par 3D animations popping up
I can't judge the story, as they don't really go into it in the trailer, but the animation looks pretty sub-standard. 3D animation companies that don't have the capability to animate at a professional level need to learn how to stylize their animation to avoid an easy comparison to other, better animations. The character design is sub-par, the shading is garish, the textures are weak and the movement is robotic and lacks weight.
