I can see the producer after watching this, "Oh wow, this is great! I love the animatic storyboards here. When do we get to see the final characters and renders?"
"Uh, this is the completed film."
That's just how bad the animation, textures, color, character design... just how bad everything about this thing looks. It looks like a first-year animation student's demo-reel. Actually, I've seen better from newbie students.
i agree completely, this is absolutely horrid for a major feature movie. the animation is sub-par, the lighting and texturing (bumb-mapping? really? dont be lazy ffs) very low-grade. Computer games today, rendered in real-time, look much better than this.
Sure, visuals arent everything and the story matters, but when its presented in this lackluster way, it makes one wonder how much effort they put into the story and characters. Speaking of which, the dancing rooster just felt like a rip-off, the cheap slap-stick humour seen countless times in better movies. Come up with something original, please.
I am speechless about how much of a moron you guys are, maybe for you guys its like that how old exactly are you all? Did you ever stop and think that for the kids its an amazing animation? A 6 and 7 year old not thinking of graphics etc... my nieces and nephews enjoyed it and wow guess what so did i.
The fact that this is meant for children does not mean that the creators should not try. "Yeah I guess we could do it better, but it's for kids, those little *beep* wont know the difference!"
I've gone back and looked at some stuff I used to love as a kid, Starblazers and Robotech. I can't believe I thought it was good then. Now it just seems ridiculous.
