Insomnia while watching Escape Plan

This might sound absolutely insane, but I've had some trouble sleeping recently and the lack thereof has made me a little delusional due to insufficient mental capacity. And while I was watching Escape Plan, it wasn't until half way through the movie that I realised Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't Clint Eastwood.

Now, I've seen many Arnold And Clint movies to be able to adequately distinguish between these two famous actors, but my sleeplessness took me to a different planet.

However, was it really my insomnia, or do they not look alike? Arnold has aged significantly and looked unrecognisable.

Please tell me it was a valid mistake and that I haven't reached insanity...

The only way I could answer my own question would be to go back in time and watch the movie fully awake and therefore mentally healthy, and discover whether I would have made the same mistake (albeit for maybe a minute), or not at all.

My friends have been laughing at me for days about this. Please help me.

Dude, take xanax.

¬_¬

reply

Funnily enough, I actually did take xanax before watching this movie.
And I too was disturbed by how much Arnie looked like Clint.
Of course I recognised him as Arnie straight away, but what has he done to his face?

reply

Thank fúck for that.

reply

Well it's been 2 years since I created this thread, and I recently watched this movie again as it aired on TV and reminisced upon this topic.

Low and behold, I still felt that Arnie and Clint are brothers from another mother. And I've had plenty of sleep.

reply

I'm afraid to tell you that if you thought that Arnie looked like Clint in this movie, yes you really need to get a lot of sleep. They look nothing alike.

reply

Holy crap dude maybe you were watching the far superior prison movie with Clint Eastwood in it called:

Escape From Alcatraz

reply

Escape Plan was far superior. Surely you jest.

reply

"escape plan was far superior"
seriously?
alcatrazs screenplay was a million times better.

reply

The only thing that decides whether a movie is good or bad: Screenplay.
I sense flawed logic. That is to say, there's not much of it at all in your argument.

I will agree that Escape from Alcatraz was better, but Escape Plan just took it a different way. It's an ok movie too.

reply

no douche bag its not the only thing but it is extrmely important and as escape plans screenplay sucked so did the film. logical enough for you?

reply

Ummmmm lmao

I'll tell you who looks like Clint Eastwood - Hugh Jackman, not Arnie.

reply

Ever since I saw the poster for Sudden Impact: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086383/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_20 I realised they looked pretty much the same (at least in that image)

reply

So I am not the only bat-shít crazy movie viewer.

reply

Guess I'm crazy too then

reply

Somehow I agree with you !! There's a ressemblance between these two and i think that Arnold could made a great man with no name ! He got the face and impressions for it.

reply

Well, they sure know how to scowl. Which is the only similarity between them.
